Andrej Medved (born 3 February 1947) is a Slovene poet, editor and translator. He has published numerous poetry collections. Medved was born in Ljubljana in 1947. He studied philosophy and history of art at the University of Ljubljana and worked as an editor at various publications including the ''Le Livre Slovène'', the predecessor of the current ''Litterae slovenicae'', published by the Slovene Writers' Association. He currently works as a curator at the ''Coastal Galleries'' in Piran and is editor of the ''Artes'' and ''Hyperion'' series.
